You guessed correctly, I loooove Epke! And his crazy moves and his hair!
His gold medal was one of the highlights of the Olympics for me!
And yes, I am aware that he has a lot of form issues on high bar and they annoy me sometimes but then he does a Cassina-Kovac-Kolman combo and I don’t care about pointed feet anymore!!! Also, some of the best high bar workers in the world (the Chinese) have bad form but also boring routines, Epke’s is a lot more interesting and exciting to watch so I’ll take it even with the form deductions :)
What do you put in your hair to keep it like that?
E: It’s like a combination of gel and wax I guess, so It’s something special. But I don’t like it to be too hard, you know, that it’s a little bit loose so in the air it’s flying in all directions.

F: Not really.
I didn’t think so because I think what we need to have is something called the Hambüchen Flu. With the Hambüchen Flu it’s just an overwhelming sense of happiness and sportsmanship and patriotism and just overall good guy. I think we should all catch the Hambüchen flu.
